Eiffel Software Announces Availability of Eiffel for ASP.NET

A free tool for developing dynamic websites and high performance web applications

Santa Barbara, CA - (May 3, 2005) -- Eiffel Software announced today the release of Eiffel for ASP.NET, a free tool which allows the authoring of ASP.NET pages in Eiffel. Eiffel for ASP.NET comes together with extensive samples and documentation and runs with the latest Eiffel compiler on both versions 1.0 and 1.1 of the .NET Framework. Eiffel for ASP.NET includes an Eiffel Codedom Provider that supports ASP.NET as well as other code generation scenarios such as Web Service stub classes generation via Microsoft's Web Services Description Language tool.

Eiffel for ASP.NET is based on the Eiffel programming language, which, according to developers, is one of the easiest to learn and master.
